When I migrated to this land, the dream of having a library always appeared to me as a beautiful vision. This dream became a reality gradually with the help, companionship, and collaboration of learned friends like Mr. Mansour Khwajehpour and Mr. Esmaeil Ebrahimi Gol Tappeh. After years, the Washington State Iranian Library came into existence in the city of Seattle.

The Washington State Iranian Library is the first Persian-language library in America that has been in Seattle for years and possesses an Iranian identity. This library, which for many years was located in downtown Seattle, was later moved to the city of Kirkland with the help and collaboration of my very good friends.

This library houses a precious collection of Persian books including:

• History
• Memoirs of politicians and notables
• Fictional books
• Art (music, painting, and poetry)
• A collection of educational and children’s storybooks
• Education
• Nutrition general information
• Geography
• Religious books
• And various other types of books.

Moreover, alongside Iranian books, authentic Iranian handicrafts have been used to create a little Iran in the heart of this city, captivating the heart of every viewer. It is appropriate to express gratitude to friends and compatriots who have contributed to the further flourishing of this library by gifting their books.
